This was the biggest job to date for the company. We moved over 130,000 pounds of cobblestone by hand, sometimes lifting the same loads 3-4 times. We carefully hand placed each stone to give a beautiful edge and thickness throughout the property.
This detention pond was outlined with old mulch deteriorated into almost completely dirt. This is the first thing you see when entering the association and we turned it into a masterpiece.
Connecting to the pond is a 500 foot stretch of retaining wall we hand lifted the cobble stone up to. With the metal and wood fences and cars parked below, no machine could safely place the materials. Hand placing the stones allowed us to give a very tailored look to the wall. The process was time consuming and very physically demanding, but the end result was beyond worth it.
